Rayleigh Tennis Academy (RTA) is responsible for running the successful coaching programme at Rayleigh Lawn Tennis Club, delivering high-quality tennis training in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
RTA provides before- and after-school tennis sessions at a range of schools across Rayleigh.
We offer coaching for players aged 4 and above, with programmes tailored to suit all abilities—from complete beginners to advanced competitors.
Our comprehensive coaching programme is led and managed by Head Coach Ryan Wilson, ensuring expert guidance and a consistent, professional standard across all sessions.
What We Offer
Rayleigh Tennis Academy (RTA) offers a wide range of coaching opportunities for both juniors and adults, including group sessions, private 1-to-1 lessons, and school tennis programmes.
Coaching at the tennis club begins with an initial trial period following which players must join club as a member. With membership, players can enjoy tennis all year round in a friendly and vibrant club environment.
RLTC provides regular social match play for adults throughout the week, as well as an annual inter-club championship for those looking to compete. The club features five all-weather courts, four of which are floodlit, allowing for play in all seasons and into the evening.
Members also benefit from excellent on-site facilities, including a clubhouse pavilion with a newly refurbished bar, an outdoor viewing area, and convenient on-site parking.
